Panda King (Cubaris sp.) isopods are a classic and highly recognizable species, prized for their crisp black-and-white coloration and chunky build. Originating from humid regions, Panda Kings require consistently high humidity and a deep, moisture-retentive substrate. They are a burrowing species and may remain hidden for extended periods, particularly before and after molting.
A substrate depth of six inches or more is strongly recommended to encourage natural behavior and successful breeding.
