Description
Orange Laevis (Porcellio laevis) are a fast-breeding, big, hungry species, and often make a great addition to more humid vivariums. They are good for substrate cleaners as well as feeders. This is a big, hardy species that breeds quickly. I always recommend a protein source for dairy cows (fish flakes, isopod food, etc), as they are more protein-hungry species.
I do not typically recommend them for soft-bodied species vivariums (frogs, many geckos) as they have been known to nibble on their bigger tank-mates!
Cultures include 10+ isopods. Springtails may be mixed in with isopod cultures.
